I remember thinking I was getting second or third degree burns from it lol. I didn't, but it sure felt like it! My dad always offers the stuff when I have aches, and I always tell him I'd rather suffer lol. Maybe you can try getting a washcloth and getting it off?

I used icy hot one day when I was a teenager. I was a swimmer, and had thrown out my back really bad, like it was hard to move it was so bad. My mom put the stuff on me, then left to go shopping. I cried so much because it hurt so bad and couldn't get up to get it off. I stay far away from the stuff since then lol. My dad swears by it though, and he's always had a bad back.
