I had 2 baby showers the weekend before my first little girl was born.  One Saturday and one Sunday.  Woke up Tuesday with contractions (which i thought were braxton hicks) and she was born Tuesday night at 37 weeks.  I stayed up super late Sunday night washing and organizing the things we received as i was still working.  Thankfully we had already received a crib and car seat before then from each of our parents.  I barely had enough time to get things the way i wanted them. I Thought i would have 3 weeks after to organize and shop for things we didnt get but my Olive had other plans!

I had my baby shower last week Saturday (jan 31) & my due date is this Sunday (feb 8) .. Yea I was pushing my luck a lot lol but I took it easy at my baby shower. Walked around a little to take pictures but I sat down majority of the time & just remained relaxed through the event. Take it easy at the your shower and you should be fine :) no worries

I'll be 36 and 5 on mine and I'm not worried. Innit dilated and even if I was you can stay that way for a long time. I would just take it easy and not exert yourself. You don't want to send yourself into labor:)
