I know someone will appreciate this...

Tonight is the first time in months that I've been able to cook meat without being sick. Either I made a really good dinner or my pregnancy cravings have started. I made my husband's favorite lasagna tonight and decided to add spinach to the ground beef. I normally don't even eat lasagna when I cook it but tonight it was so good... weird.

I feel you on this tho. I love venison but since being pregnancy I can't smell or eat it. Makes ne sad. Hub is going to try again but I doubt it will change.

It was fresh. I browned the meat with minced garlic, salt, and pepper then added the spinach and let it cook until it was wilted. Then I added an Italian blend of cheeses and most of a jar of ragu. I use lasagna noodles that you don't have to boil first... makes it easy. I layer the noodles and mixture and on the top layer of noodles I put the rest of the ragu and mozzarella, top it with foil and cook it for 45 mins at 350. Then I take the foil off and cook for another 10 mins. My whole family loves it. I'm not a huge fan but tonight it was great lol.

Was it canned spinach or fresh? How did you do it?

This has nothing to do with meat but I hate apples...like literally haven't eaten an apple in about 4-5 years or more...they had apple's at work and I walked by and they just looked so good so I grabbed one and ate it...it was like the best thing I've ever eaten haha I've had 5 in 2 days. Weird what baby likes that we normally wouldn't
