migraines

Do any of you have serious pregnancy migraines? If so, what do you do to calm them down or get rid of them. I have tried everything. The doctor told me he couldn't really give me anything.

Ive been taking nature's made prenatal +dha they're about $26 and have 90 pills. They're high in folic acid and iron. These pills have really worked for me with headaches...i got them before i was pregnant also but i absolutely can't handle them while pregnant so my doctor suggested this to me because i didn't want to take any pain killers so its worth a shot for you:) i really hope they do help you! Good luck:)

Okay. Definitely gonna increase my water intake. I need to get those dha prenatal pills. Right now I'm trying out some that the doctor gave me. What brand do you take?

I had them long before I was pregnant but now I have them more frequently. Water helps tremendously as well as rest and caffeine (which you're very limited to). Hope you feel better. I know your pain and it's horrible.

Prenatal pills that include DHA help with migraines. Dha is omega 3 which is is basically lubricates your brain....which causes less headaches. Since I've been taking it i don't get headaches but the days that i forget to take it i get a headache. You should try it....dha is really good for babys brain and is a natural way of relieving a headaches:)

I suffer with severe migraines. Unfortunately they can't give much but they have prescribed me with codydramol which seem to work a treat. As long as I've eaten and drank plenty of water.  Only thing is they do tend to make you feel very drowsy.

Drinking lots of cold water helped my headaches. I'm not sure if they ever got as bad for me to say they were a migraine but I was having headaches about everyday and when I started drinking a lot of water they seemed to go away.
