I got one at 5wks and i made syre i stayed breathing but the artist didn't know until after. I got it on my shoulder and i had a friend hoo got one further along a cover-up on her side and her bby was fine. Just have to b clean artist

No tattoo artist is allowed to tattoo a pregnant chick O.o if he does,they on crack or sumthing cause my bf a tattoo artist and wuld never do that cause u can go into shock or yur baby.You stress yur baby out too.and thats not healthy at all.it can wait.yu can get a tattoo anytime.just wait

If it's not a life or death matter I am sure you can wait. It's not worth risking your little one. Clean needle or not you can still get an infection! Also, just because some of these mothers did it and didn't get an infection doesn't mean the same will happen for you. Every single person is different.

A respectable artist would not touch a pregnant woman.  And should also have a waiting list longer than a pregnancy but that is beside the point.

Just cause some one else did and nothing happened doesn't mean that it won't happen differently for you. No two pregnancys are the same. Aside from an infection your body can go into shock even if you've already had them before. A cover up can wait. I'm js.

If you really want to get one then just make shure you find the cleanest place, so that the needles and all the equptment is clean....i would do some research for your self because after all these are just opinions on here!

As long as the artist uses a clean needle n fresh/new ink then it will be fine as long as it's not on your back stomach/side or breast..

No, because you can get infections which would potentially travel to the baby. Wait until the baby is born.

Ink is bad during pregnancy, My sister got a tattoo and her baby came out with ink in her blood and caused major issues.

I got one when I was 10 wks and my son is healthy but it was above my ankle. They won't do it on ur back, stomach or breast.

Your not suppose to, most artist won't even consider it. The paperwork you fill out should ask you if your pregnant.
