I'm shaking so bad!!!
Well my husband and I must have had a very good "Happy New Years" night because.............. I just got my BFP! I went to the store today and almost didn't grab a pack of tests because I thought that I wouldn't be pregnant. It is ALWAYS when I least expect it and now I'm shaking so bad.
The only inkling I had was feeling SO SO SO tired in the mornings but as a mom of three that isn't unusual anyway.
Ahhhhhh! I can't believe it! It turned positive within a minute and then I ran downstairs and shoved it in Daniel's face. We had just been watching Stargate Universe and the lights were off except for a strand of Christmas lights so he couldn't see anything. He jumped up yelling, "NO WAY!" and ran into the other room to turn on the light... sure enough there is NO mistaking it. He grabbed me in a huge hug and said, "Congratulations" and then prayed over the new little one.
I'll be honest- with two miscarriages I'm feeling more cautious and nervous. He was jumping all over the dining room and grinning so much. I'm calling my midwife first thing in the morning for a blood test to ease my mind. And I'm going to try to get a sonogram the first week of February when I'm about 7 weeks so I can breathe a little easier, too. Despite all that I AM totally stoked and cannot wait for all the pregnancy milestones!

I'm still in shock! I bought a 3-pack of tests and even though I'm not one to question a line I might just take them just for the thrill of seeing the link pop up again. I wasn't expecting to get pregnant this soon and with feeling like my PCOS was creeping back up on me. Wow, I'm just shocked and amazed!!! I cannot wait for the sonograms, for the prenatal visits, to tell people... oh gosh how should we tell people?! Ahhhh!
September is a good month! Some sites say I'm due October 8 and some say September 23rd. That's quite a difference. Only the sonogram will tell I guess. I just want to tell everyone but we've always done that in the past and I want to do something fun and maybe keep it to ourselves to enjoy a little. We're also so impulsive.

Oh my gooossssh Joy my daughter's birthday is Sept 23rd :-D that's an auspicious day I hope that's your due date!

Super congrats! I remember the day I saw the pink line...u can't stop shaking! LOL! Try wiping a smile off your face today would be impossible! I am so happy for you hun! :)
I could NOT sleep last night and usually it is super hard for me to get up in the morning but I popped up like toast in a toaster because I think I'm running on adrenaline. I also took another test and the test line came up before the control line this time and almost immediately! It's darker than last night's too, which doesn't really mean anything but it is definitely there. WOW!!!
Symptoms so far- feeling bloated and "full" in my lower abdomen. Sometimes I get a little dizzy so I am chugging water. Nothing else really going on. I don't really start getting symptoms until week 7 or more.
Called the midwife group and left a message around 8:30 and it's 10:30 now without a call back. I'm going to call again after lunch if they don't call me before then. I really want to get my progesterone checked just in case!
