Jealous siblings, ruining excitement!

I'm 15 weeks pregnant, and OF COURSE excited, my gender U/S is coming up. We told our sisters (my 2, his 1) that we were trying, and they were all excited, til I got pregnant. They are all so jealous they're killing my excitement! My SIL, is jealous because her daughter won't be the baby and get all the attention anymore, my sister had her tubes tied, recently started dating someone else and wants a baby by him, and can't, and my other sister is newly married, she's 26 and her husband is 49, so they decided not to have kids, even though I think she really wanted them. I feel like I can't talk to any of them without them trying to ruin it all! Anyone else have that?! I'm sensitive to their feelings, ESPECIALLY my sister that decided not to have kids, I don't feel so bad for the other two, because one is selfish, and the other was her choice. I'm just so annoyed and upset by it, and have no one to talk to, all the people that should be sharing this with us aren't!

Sorry your sisters are being unsupportive. Mu sister's have been so excited. I'm thinking its because I'm the youngest of 6. Tell them how you feel & they'll come around.

I completely understand family jealousy. When my family found out I was pregnant everyone was excited except my one cousin. She has four kids all boys and  she tried for a girl each time. well when she found out I was pregnant she had such a tantrum literally. then she kept making side comments pretty much telling everyone she hopes its a boy (that's putting her words nicely). And when we found out it was a girl she had the nerve to hand me a list of baby names she's already claimed! I swear the list was the size of a baby name book lol. And every name we mention she somehow forgot to add that to the list. I find it annoying yet humorous!!

I understand. My situation is a little different but I understand the jealousy. When I told my dad and stepmom that I was pregnant my stepmom decided she wanted another baby. Well she asked me how I felt about it and I told her I didn't think it was a great idea but I would be happy for her either way. (my dad has 3 kids by 3 different women, and him and my stepmom decide they are divorcing every other week then make up, which I don't think is a good relationship to raise a baby in) anyway she asked for my honest opinion so I gave it her well then she tells me to **** off and that the only reason I don't want her to have another baby is because her baby would take the attention away from mine even though me and my husband live over 1200 miles away from family -_- and now she won't allow my dad to talk to me... So I totally understand.

I rarely talk to any of my sisters, for this reason. When i do, they're SO unenthusiastic and act so annoyed that I'm even bringing up my baby..so annoying, I only have my husband and mother to talk to, it's frustrating!!

They should be happy for you! My sister has been trying for a baby for a long time with no luck and when she found out that I was pregnant she was very happy for me and even wanted to throw a shower for me

I know exactly how u feel..my sister is the same way..I only have one sister nd 5 brothers nd everyone is excited except her..now tht I'm pregnant she always gets mad wen my mom does stuff to her. Its so bad tht she dnt want my niece to be around me for more then 15 min but its not like my baby will be compared to hers cuz I'm having a boy but I know he will get alot of attention since he will be thee first boy..my brothers all have girls along wit my sister..most times I just bite my tongue nd walk away but me being emotional I sometimes can't take it in blow up in her face nd then she dnt tlk to my for a few hours..sry so long

I know it, such an excitement killer, my SIL drives me the nuts the most though, shes soo competitive with our children, I have a boy, and she has a girl, and shes PRAYING this isn't a girl so her daughter will remain the only girl, it's disgusting and selfish, drives me nuts!! I kind of hope it's NOT a girl so she won't be compared!
