Im so sorry for your loss.ive also read storys about this.it does make me mad, that there is no attempt to do anything for you.they say come 24 ways, there is a possiblity of a baby surviving before this, then not.I really feel for you,and I agree you need to sit down with the doctors, and ask them to explain why.god bless you and your family.

I've heard and read of similar cases where doctors didn't do anything. I believe the reason why is because before 24 weeks a pregnancy isn't seen as viable (outside the womb) and there's little they can do. I've heard of where the doctors will suture (sp?) the bags closed and can try an injection of some fluid to try and keep the pregnancy going, but I don't know if it could have even been done in your case, or if it would have actually helped. The only ones who can really answer this are the doctors since they know far more details than we do. I'm sorry that you and your family has to go through this.
