Horror story about Epidural

So at about 6cm dilated I was able to get my epidural. My doctor who would be giving me the epidural came in to explain the risk and how unlike it is to react to it blah blah blah. Standard procedure. So I get my epidural in and he ask how I'm feeling and if I hear ringing. I said no. He said everything looked great.... Until they rolled me onto my left side and I completely lost the ability to hear and all the color in my face was gone. My blood pressure dropped soo low. Luckily it only took about 2 minutes for me to regain my hearing and bring my BP up.
Baby didn't like it too much. It completely wiped out my contractions and was causing his heart rate to be in the 190s-200s. So my doctor rushed me in for a c-section.... My little Emory is doing great tho. (:

Lol I know it's half and half but I have a friend who had it done and know she has unbearable back pain especially in the cold, and my sister couldn't even get it because her scoliosis was so bad that they told her she had a chance they could hit a nerve and paralyze her so it wAsnt even an option, I have it as well, not as bad as her but now I'm just terrified lol I think I'll just tough it out, I hope I ask for it when it's to let to get it. Lol

It was because my blood sugar was low due to not eating that day. So when he flipped me to my side all that medicine just rushed into me. He said the percentage of this happening is very low. Guess I'm part of that percentile now lol
