Looking for Belly Buddies-April/May 2013

Hello Ladies!!
I'm currently 4w and some days... Just found out on Tuesday! This will be my fourth pregnancy and hopefully 3rd child!  Based on LMP I'm due April 30th! I have a feeling I will be later than that because it took a few days for my test to go positive! (never happened with my boys! but one can hope).
Just looking to share how you found out, due dates, how your appts are going, how your feeling and anything else you'd like to discuss!  When I was pregnant with my youngest son, we had a spectacular group and that kept going past all the babies being born.  Now it's almost 3yrs later aftr starting that "discussion group" and would love to have the same experience!

So, me - I'm 30, went through fertility to get pregnant the last 3 times (by taking clomid only). I have a 7yr and an almost 2yr and lost one at 11w6d on leap day this year. This one would be due in April (perfect timing!!). Of course, hoping for a girl, so I'm not alone in the house anymore, but would be thrilled with another boy! I've had 3 neg tests from day AF was due until wed, then had a faint pos. Then another two faint Pos yesterday at home and at the docs office - so much that she said "sorry it's neg" until I had her look again.  Waiting for my HCG numbersback today or monday to confirm more.  Then I can book a 6w u/s to date and confirm pregnancy and potential multiples from the meds.  

So.... what about you?

I took mine two weeks apart and both were negative n a few weeks later I was having bad cramps and went to the hospital n they told Mr I was prego . I'm always tired I feel nauseous sometimes and always have headaches im due march 18 and hoping for a girl and this is my first pregnancy

that's crazy!!! I've heard stories of people never getting a positive but still go on to have healthy babies!
Congrats! March is an awesome time to have a baby! My first was March 23. Once you're up to going out it's nice outside! My last was a Sept baby and it was icky, cold and snowy when I was ready to go for walks, etc (after 6w/sections).

Thanks same to you. And I was on the deppo shot so that worries me too. I just hope it doesn't effect my baby

SOOOO exciting!!! Maru, is this your first?  Hessy - your first?
Jaleighsmommy - you will love this one - as you know what you expect, but will be so different at the same time!
Will any of you find out what you're having or keep it a surprise?  After two boys - i'm DEFINATELY finding out!

Charletta - did you talk with your doc about the depo? what did they say? If you're still preg now, I'm sure it's all good as they will have stopped giving you future shots.

What are some weird symptoms you ladies have had so far?

Hey! Im due April 23rd. This is my thitd pregnancy. My first pregnancy was miscarried around 5 wks. I got pregnant right after that and had a healthy baby boy in June 2011. I have not told many people because the miscarriage definitely took its toll on me. If it were to happen again, I would rather not answer questions. I found out I was pregnant from a home pregnancy test with a faint line. I had my boyfriend draw my blood and the serum HCG was faint as well. My physician told me not to come in until 12 weeks so we can doppler a heartbeat. It is just a waiting (and worrying) game.

I am 25 and a registered nurse. I am still in school working towards NP. Good luck to you all!

I'm so confused, the doc doesn't want to see you until 12w?! What about the IPS screening ultrasound and bloodwork, what about initial bloodwork/urine analysis for glucose, hcg levels, etc?  I too have had all faint lines - nothing exceptional.  My doc is still sending me for an ultrasound at 6w for confirmation and dating (as we took clomid to get pregnant).  I hope everything is ok and that your doc will smarten up!
We haven't told anyone but my mom and a L&D RN friend! I'm soooo wanting to, but sooooo scared from the last one as well.
Amazing that you got pregnant right after! I've heard of that happening a lot! However, for us, it takes meds, so we had to wait - plus my cycle didn't go back to normal until 3mths later. (bled for almost a month after the miscarriage, then a week off, then another 2w bleeding, then 3w off... then back to normal).  Thought I had lost enough when I hemmoraged several times!! But I guess not!  The female body is craaa-zyyy!! lol
Are you a crazy tester too to see that pink line get darker?  What was your HCG levels and when did he take them?

Yes I did and they said the baby is healthy :)

I havent had any of the same symptoms with this one. With my daughter i was sick for 6 months and so im hoping for a boy so i will deff find out:)

Charletta - oh good!!! I'm glad to hear everything is ok!!

Jaleighsmommy - I thought for SURE I was having a girl the last time too - but I have two boys.  Best wishes! Can't wait to find out! Boys, I'm not going to lie, are sooooooooo easy!! Even though my second was extremely colicky and had/has many issues, still is a lot easier than girls later on!! No drama! lol  

SOOOO exciting!! Can't wait for the ultrasound to find this out!!!

I took a test last night again and the line was darker proving that my HCG lvls are increasing. When my boyfriend drew me, we just did a pregnancy test not a quant. It was unauthorized lol. My physician has had a run of miscarriages lately. She doesnt recommend early US because I live in a small town and people can hardly afford it. My last pregnancy was textbook without any side effects or complications until delivery. She wants to wait until 12w to doppler because I am bigger and she didnt want me to panic if she couldnt doppler a heart beat.

Im due April 1 but will take him/her a week before that bc I will have another c-section.  Im 31 and have 2 boys that are 8 and 5 and one soon to be stepdaughter she is 5 also.  I found out a couple weeks ago when I was 6 weeks...I was almost in disbelief that I was even preggo until I took the test and it was + before I even set it down on the counter!  We were shocked at first but now excited and so are the kids.

cmp424 - That's AWESOME the line is darker! That means things are going in the right direction! Sooooo exciting!!!  I too never get a doppler to work unti llike 14+w.  I'm not tiny either, even tho I just lost close to 30lbs.  

babymakes04 WOW! Instantly double your family size! that's so cool!! It's "Yours, mine and ours" on a smaller scale. :)  That's a super fast positive!!!!  How many weeks are you right now?

I'm still waiting for my urine confirmation at the docs office.  I went pee before going (yeah, smart, I know!) so the sample I gave there was crappy and came back inconclusive.  So, I go back monday for a retest. So if it weren't for all the symptoms, missing period and faintly postive hpt I might have more doubts.  This one is just SOOO different already than my other 3 pregnancies! (be a girl! be a girl! be a girl!!) heehee

I hadnt had a period for months before as my mini pill had stopped them, but had a feeling i was pregnant even though i had no typical symptoms and took 2 tests.. Both positive!! :) exciting, but scary thinking of having 2 kids under 2!xx

I m exactly 5 weeks today. I found out on Tursday after taking 4 tests. I was 4 days late. I am due on Aprol 27 and my first appointment is Sep 10. This will be my first and only.

I just found out on Friday. I happened to take a pregnancy test at work and it was positive. I took 3 more test before I was convinced. I am 4 weeks and due April 30th. I have one child who is 11 and born on April 14. Im excited and nervous at the same time this will be my husbands first. I look forward to being in a buddies group especially since no one knows yet (exception of my mom and husband).

Yeah my fiance is an amazing man and I couldnt ask for anyone better to share my life with.  We did double the family quick lol. He is already looking for a 7 passenger vehicle but this is the only one we are having together..either way I am happy with what we have (I would love a lil girl of my own of course, but he wants a boy obviosuly)  HOWEVER he keeps saying its twins lol he better not have jinxed us!!
Good luck to you on your test at the dr office!  Make sure you dont pee BEFORE you go lol.  I did that when I was going for my blood work oops...thank goodness I work in the hospital so I just took it back up later.  LET US KNOW!!!!

I know how you feel about m/c.  I had two, one with my first preg, then I had my oldest with no problems then I had another m/c then had to be put on Clomid and Progesterone suppositories with my second.  SO I am hoping and praying everything is ok with this one...bc if history repeats itself then I am in for another m/c.  But so far so good.  I go for an ultrasound today to check everything out!  So excited and so nervous!

Idk my exact due date but my calculations say I'm due April 24th I find out for sure at my 6 wk appointment on Thursday I'm so excited. I found out at my doctors office tht I was pregnant 3days before my menstural was due I just knew I wasn't pregnant but to my suprise I was.
