Low haemoglobin
I just got my blood test results and it says I have a below normal haemoglobin level at 10.7. I only see my OB 2 weeks later and am feeling worried now. Is 10.7 very low? I'm 13 weeks pregnant with twins. Anyone with similar experience?
Yes I'm starting on iron pills now. Hopefully it will get better. I feel dizzy sometimes too but not sure if it's related to this. Thanks for sharing!
No 10.7 is not horribly low. Just make sure you are taking your prenatals. I would call your physician he/she will probably want you taking some iron pills in addition to your prenatal vitamin.
I can't remember exactly what my hemoglobin was, but it was in the 10 range like yours and I took my vitamin and 2 iron pills a day. I delivered a healthy baby with no complications.
