how can you tell

Is there anyway to tell if you are leaking fluid? With this being my second baby I am totally used to peeing myself. Sneeze too hard and you gotta change your pants. But the past two days I have been having extra braxton hicks and then today it seems like I can't keep my clothes dry down there. Its not thick like I would think discharge would be. IDkaybe I'm just being a worry wart. But is there anyway you can tell the difference or do I just have to wait and see if I go into Labor. 30 weeks btw

See if your able to do it on the toilet. When my water broke it was on the toilet and I knew it right away because the liquid was clear (like, not colored) and cloudy. Also, it was like a gushing of fluids especially if I pushed (like having to use the bathroom) that continued throughout labor. And 30-45min after my water broke, my contractions started and increased in intensity.

Idk but iv had the same for a while now and I asked my dr and she kind of side stepped the question (me asking if it was amniotic fluid)and didnt seem worried so idk..

Lol @ladyluv yes ma'am it does lol but this is noticeably coming.out of.my baby cannon. Lol I have an u/s on Wednesday so I guess we will find out then and I'll let you other guys that were wondering the same thing know.

Same thing for me!!! I'm 38 weeks and been have afew bh.....at my last appt on Monday they checked me and I was dilated 1cm n 70% effaced so I'm not sure if I'm leaking fluid or if it's just me sweating.....it's been a dam heatwave the past week and being 207 with a big belly it gets hot down there lol

Amniotic fluid has. Sweet smell. I remember it oh so well. If its watery not thick and slimy with a sweet smell it's prob fluid which the l&d can take a sample and test it
