For those NOT planning on breast feeding

I understand why you chose not to, but let me list some of the amazing things I've learned about it since having my baby, the first is the bond with my baby. I had to formula feed for three straight days because of meds I needed to take and it was awful! My heart hurt every time she whined or cried because I longed to be able to feed my baby. The bond you develop from this is indescribable. Secondly,my milk is like liquid gold. I put it on a few pimples and they were gone over night! Now for the biggest shock, the weight loss. I lost 31 lbs in 1 week. That's it. One week. And I still dropping weight. I weigh less than I did before I got pregnant and I'm not even exercising yet. I knew that people said it will help lose the baby weight but my god.. I haven't been this thin in what feels like years. Sorry it's not a question I just had to share! Good luck to all you new moms! I wish your pregnancies go smoothly and your labor be short and sweet.

Fyi for all mothers who plan to feed their babies formula. Formula carries cupric sulfate, a toxic pesticide which is proven to  cause intestinal damage.

Formula will also make your baby super chunky. Im gonna be a breast feeder. Anything that helps her be as healthy as can be. :)

I was and still am so sad about not being able to continue with it. I miss the bonding, but have been able to find other ways to bond. I had to stop because I had to have surgery unexpectedly, and was pretty doped up. I dried up in the process. I was 3 weeks pp, and had lost 30 pounds. I haven't been as thin as I am now since I was 15. Its crazy! Lol.

I'm not gonna lie, it hurts really bad the first few days because you have to give your nipples time to toughen up and your baby time to learn how to latch, but I promise it will get better. I wanted to give up a few times but I'm glad I didn't. Just continue to think about the health benefits such as giving baby antibodies to protect them from getting sick, etc. BUT there is nothing wrong with formula feeding either. Good luck ladies

I breastfeed my first son and I plan on doing the same with this one too and my son and I have such a close bond still to this day and he is 2 years old and I was only able to breastfeed him for 3 months due to having to take antibiotics that dried my milk up. But they can drink breast milk for as long as they still like the taste my aunt breastfeed her son until he was 2 and told her her mommy milk was nasty. I on the other hand I'll breastfeed until 6-8months then I'll pump and bottle feed my son because I would rather not have my nipplea

Lost all my weight with my first in Less than a week and kept dropping! And even when my daughter self weaned at 4m, I pumped for her for the next 8. She did not get the flu last month when my husband and I did and I fully attribute that to the antibodies she was passed through bm.

As wonderful as it is to Breastfeed, make sure you Ladies eat Healthy. There are a ton of Foods that will give your Baby GAS. Its a must that you avoid certain foods, especially CHOCOLATE,  because it rots the Baby teeth before they can fully develop. Everything you eat, they Baby consumes also. Good luck Ladies ♥

It shouldn't hurt! Talk to a lactation specialist, you should not have to let your nipples "toughen up" as long as someone teaches you how to get it in right there won't be any pain or cracking. :) good luck ladies! And about the formula making a chunky baby, my baby is a chunk monster lol she's gained over two lbs and is only 3 w old. Dr said average weight gain in the first month is 1/2lb - 1lb so it just depends on the baby and how well they eat

Also, you should be taking a warm wet cloth and wiping down baby's gums and tongue at least once a day for breastfed and twice for formula to start with healthy teeth, chocolate won't rot their teeth if you do that. Just like everything else :)
