walking or waddling?

When people say walking is good to bring on labour should I be trying not to waddle? I feel like my walk is so slow and isn't doing anything to help labour. But people think that because I am pregnant I should be taking it easy and not running around or lifting my son. I am 37+3 weeks. But measuring 1 week ahead.

It's not the exercise of walking that brings on labor. By walking you are letting gravity take over, opening up your pelvis, and getting baby's head engaged. So don't worry about posture. You also don't want to take it too easy. By staying active it conditions your body for labor.
