Maternity Photos Shoot

For those of you who have had maternity photos done, when during your pregnancy did you have those done? I'd love to have photos done to document this wonderful time of my life and I want to be in the best shape (baby bump wise) to get great shots.

cnhauk- you can google maternity poses! Haha that is what I did. I got some pretty good ideas! & also including your partner too :) I'm going to do a sunset sillouette one at the beach & have my bf kiss my belly. I think that pose is cute. There is tons of poses you can do. Have fun with it :)

I'm going to start looking into different photographers now and hopefully set up a session within the next few weeks. I'll be 29 weeks on Saturday so I'm thinking sometime end of January/beginning of February. I'm so excited to document this amazing time in my life!

My sister is a maternity a.d newborn photographer and she can't wait to do my Pictures at 6 and a.half 7 months.  That way your still able to pose just starting to get tired again and you can have fun with it.   You can do it at any time but that is what she suggest.   Were doing mine every week starting this week do I can have a book about it.

I was thinking to get it done in time for the baby shower so you can use it as invites or thank you note afterward. You can also display it during the even. We did one shoot for a friend onetime, since I'm an amutar photographer with a decent DSLR. We went to the beach early in the morning and pick out nice spot for the parents to be. The set of photo came out quite nice.

Great thanks! Are there specific shots you love to do that I should ask for? Or just let the photographer be inspired and do whatever shots that come to mind?

Also, like akua808 said, you don't want to be uncomfortable and you don't want it too close to your EDD in order to get them in before baby is born :)

I'm a photographer and have done a few maternity photoshoots and it's best to get them done around 30-34 weeks

I am currently 27 weeks. I was told by a photographer to do it when I'm 8 months. So my baby bump will actually show in the pictures but also not do it to close to your EDD cause you may feel uncomfortable!

I havent had this done but I too am looking forward to possibly having this done. I'm just gonna wait til my bump is in full bloom and hopefully i'm feeling great. Thats about all I got though cause i'm barely showing right now i'm only 15w though :)
