But what exactly do contractions feel like
And how does your body feel before you go into labor?

I am 35 weeks,  and have yet to feel even Braxton Hicks or anything..

But I woke up feeling horrible this morning. Different pains than normal.
Mainly my entire back hurting and cramps.

Any input appreciated.

Yeah,  I've never felt my stomach tighten or anything yet. But I am carrying high.

I also have a pinched nerve in my extreme lower back that immobilizes me most of the time..
I also constantly feel period like pains,  for weeks.  Is that normal?

I had my first contractions last night I'm a ftm 35+3 mine were very painful my back hurt so bad that I could hardley move my stomach was as hard as a rock I couldn't breath and the pain was so intense I thought I was gonna vomit. But once the stomach pain went away I could finally kinda relax with a heating pad and go to sleep. But my back contractions haven't stopped. But its not the real deal cause I haven't lost my mucus plug or anything

Contractions feel like menstrual cramps only worse. Braxton hicks feels like tightening in your belly and can be eased with simply moving positions. You'll know when the real ones come because you really cant do anything to improve the pains.
