Medication in pregnancy

Has anybody else had to take novo trazodone during pregnancy. Motherrisk has classified it as safe, no increase in birth defects in a study, so that makes me feel relatively good. However there was a small increase in miscarriages (4%). Im scared but I have no other choice as I have major insomnia and anxiety problems without the medication, and have already attempted to stop, causing several withdrawal problems.
I am looking for anybody who has shared a similar experience and can relate to me, and help me through my pregnancy.

thank you clysta. i am going to try. i just feel like im going crazy. i did take my medicine last night but still didnt sleep well cuz then i was worried about how it was gong ot hurt the baby. i feel very very hopeless. i apprecaite your help

I think you should do whatever you feel is right. If your body is exhausted, how can you expect it to be able to support a pregnancy and you.

I dont know what else to do. Its been two night now and i Have not slept. I have tried twice now to cut myself off but it just isnt working.. .. Im really suffereing, im exhausted, have headaches and extreme anxiety, so, which is better for the baby?

If there is anything you can do to stop taking it, I would.  You don't want to take any chances, but if you must take it, I would check with your doctor to make sure.  Good Luck!
