I always wore the hospital gowns and just brought a sundress or something comfortable to wear home.
I had pyjamas in labour and upon delivering was in a birth pool so was in just a tshirt. After i wore nighties i had bought with me. And to leave wore baggy jogging bottoms and a tshirt. I bought leggings to leave the hospital but it was too sore to wear something to tight so needed something baggy.
Must depend on the town. Where I grew up, everybody had to wear hospital gowns.
Thanks, so just something comfortable and with easy access :)
I just wore pyjama trousers and a T-shirt but took trousers off when I was delivering
With a first I cant exactly remember but think it was a light blue nightie. Second time I wore a long light cotton dress but when I was close to giving birth my midwife asked me if it was okay to wear just a top cause I was mobile and she didnt wana miss catching the baby or have to deal with my long dress.
I wore pajama pants and a t-shirt to the hospital. But when they got me all settled in, they made me put a hospital gown on.
A dark coloured night dress, one that will prob go in bin afterwards. If it turns out a section u wont be needing any clothes;the hospital will dress u in a paper gown thing and just put ur dressing gown over it while going up to theatre.have dark underwear for afterwards as u will bleed alot regardless of what way u deliver and plenty of pads.
