I know a girl who was told girl girl girl for her second pregnancy. The first pregnancy was a girl. So they just bought more pink stuff to go along with their first daughter's hand me downs. Went into labor... it came out a boy. They had NOTHING neutral or boyish. People had to go buy some boy clothes while they were in the hospital for him.

My sis was told girl and had an entire nursery done and clothes etc then at 38 weeks she had a growth scan and they said it's a boy lol she had to quickly sell all the pink bits for a massive loss and buy as much boys stuff as she could.

I don't see how they get it wrong. I have one of each and the parts look completely different. I'm no expert but I could tell what I was having before the doctor told us. I think a lot of the time if they can't get a clear shot they try to make their best guess. I'd rather hear I can't tell what you're having over just a guess. At least you could buy gender neutral items and wouldn't be disappointed at birth if the doctor was wrong LoL!

I know of a lady who was told girl with her first then had a boy and then with her second she was told boy and had a girl. I wouldn't be returning to that ultrasound clinic again! I think I just wouldn't even bother trying to find out lol.

I would punch the doctor or nurse. Even though I want a boy, i would still be pretty upset if my girl came out as a boy. You prepare yourself to have what they tell you you're having and they only give you that 1 ultrasound when you find out the sex.. Sorry i dont have an answer from experience.
