What are some of the reasons your doc induced and how far along were you

I was induced twice because I was overdue with both and stuck not dilating. The first time I was stick at 2cm for a month and got induced at 40+6, and then second one, I was stuck at 3cm and I got induced at 41+4.

ileannarenee,  you might want to ask your doctor again why you are getting induced.  If you are 38 weeks, 6 days,  4 cm and 100% effaced that is actually a reason not to induce.  You're practically in labor.  

Can you ask your health provider again why you are being induced?  (It may be because there are health conditions you have that you haven't mentioned in your post.)

My doctor induced me at 1/2 dilated.. but did it cause I was so huge and she knew how uncomfortable I was cause how small I was ... but when I got there thank god she did cause my son was all wrapped up in the cord around his neck in stuff every time they lay me on my right side he stopped breathing they rushed me into c section.  So I wasblessed  she induced me when she did
