My child sometimes has yellow eyes

My 7 year old son sometimes have yellow eyes.  What can possibly cause this?

My son had red (blood look)  in his bowels--plenty.  He did eat some red HOT chips earlier this afternoon.  Can this cause this?

You definitely need to have a doc check him out. I had this problem last month with my son and it turned out that he had an ear infection that caused his liver to over produce which made his eyes yellow.

I agree with wanabb.

Yellow eyes  indicate a potential liver problem.  You need to get your son seen by a doctor asap - this is not something to wait around on.

I would have a doctor look at him.  Yellow color can be liver problems and any blood in his stool should be addressed as soon as possible.  I hope it's nothing serious but still worth getting him checked out.
