My first vent

The way my man eats irritates me. We moved in together when I was about 5 months so of course I took on the woman duties of the house. The only thing I cant stand doing is cooking for him. He wants every dinner to be like Sunday dinner. Everything from scratch too. I understand that he grew up eating like that, but cooking like that multiple times a week is draining when you have obligations outside the house and 30 weeks preggo. I do not know what he is going to do when I finish law school and am really in my career. I know for one he is going to start eating leftovers.

I google alot of recipes for all kinds of random foods. But I'm pregnant I like to eat good too ha. We don't eat leftovers ever. I save them and take them to my dad

Hes an older man and thats the kind of cooking he was raised on and his mom didnt work so she had time. He needs to understand Im not his momma lol.

I would tell my man to suck it up we don't have the money to be constantly be throwing away food I can't stand wasting food.

Lol Aw that would irritate me!! Luckily I'm not aloud to do anything but bake goodies!!

I try. He will ask "whats for dinner tonight." And ill say we have food from yesterday. You should see the look he gives when I tell him that. I throw so much food away its ridiculous. I wish him washing dishes was an option, but it kind of isnt since he works nights. But he could at least wash the dishes that are in the kitchen before I cook.

Lol I'd make him start eating leftovers now! My hubby likes home cooked meals too but doesn't expect a big Sunday dinner every night, maybe you should have him at least do the dishes if you're cooking these big meals every night!
