NEW BORN question

How soon can you take a baby out ? My 4 year old wants to go to the pumpkin patch tomorrow can I take my newbie with us? He is 10 days old

Oh, well I would be keeping him in his car seat/stroller combo so he wouldn't be out in the open. And the pumpkin patch is huge so I don't think it will be crowded.

Well for me we are used to taking a baby out wen baby is about 1 month...i hate seeing people with small babies at walmart or some other stores that take their babies that look like they are a week old or so and not covered and a just walking around with them in their hands.....they should be covering their babies from all those germs and things going around......IJS

Yes keep baby covered and don't let anyone breathe on the baby..  have fun!

Yay! His big brother will be excited to take him out then. I'll make sure he is dressed appropriately and that no strangers get close or touch him a bunch. ♡thanks guys

I was discharged literally 24hrs to the minute of her being born and we went straight to walmart to get stool softeners. Its all about just keeping peoples face away from them and coveres so no one can sneeze on them or cough or all that :)

Go take your child to the pumpkin patch. Try to keep baby covered as much as possible and try not to let people touch because there is a lot of stuff going around...

Ok thanks!  I just didn't know if there was  a specified waiting period. We haven't seen his pediatrician yet

I took my babies out. I just kept them covered so nobody would try to touch them.

Most women I know take their babies out after their first week. It's all preference!
