Hello!!!! My name is Sheena. This is my first pregnancy I just had an amniocentesis on the 9th. The reason for this because supposedly my child has no nasal bone. So my question is does this always mean your can have an genetic disorder. My doctor called me to tell me so far the test looks normal so should I be worry still.?

I would ask for the perinatologist to see you. I personally would be concerned about not seeing the nasal bone. What results was your doctor saying looked normal? The first trimester screen or the Amnio? Neither test are 100% accurate but the Amnio is much more accurate. I would push to see the perinatologist just so you have a second opinion by a doctor who's specialty is babies in utero. Hope everything turns out to be perfect.
