My birth story is on my profile in my journals! Good luck on going natural mama you can do it!
April 21-22 I was in labor for 22 hours! I would dilate and then stop for a few hours. It was hard and long but at 7:45 am they broke my water. At 12:34 my little man was here. And oh so tiny. He is a preemie because he was 4 weeks early. BUT he's doing great! I'm doing great. Everyone told me I did great and I didn't scream, I made sure I took deep breaths because it really makes the difference later when you're pushing. It helped keep me steady and focused. I pushed for 2 hours and it was the worse pain in the world... but so worth it. I would only recommend it to women who can really stand pain
Aww! I hope labor is that quick for me! With my first it was 18 hours!
Im not breastfeeding because I didn't with my first born and I have a toddler running around so fixing formula would be easier and my hubby would be able to fix bottles for me when I'm too busy!
Plus he's terrified it will make my nipples stick out and look gross! My hubby is a boob man! Lol!
Also when my first was born my cousin gave birth to her son the same day and hospital as me! She breastfed, I formula fed! Her son has always been very underweight and a lot slower than my son at everything! We decided formula was the best choice we made for our son!
The only thing that child has done before ours is talk and my son has ADHD like I did as a child and he doesn't slow down to learn how to talk! He says sippy and yes and no, momma and daddy! Just stuff that he needs to know to get through the day!
I was 18 with my first and terrified of having a needle just hanging out in my back so I chose the one time shot in the back(i ALWAYS forget what its called!) It was perfect a perfect 6 hour labor. So with my second my number one fear was not having enough time to get any pain meds. My hour was 20 minutes from the hospital, my water broke at home and i had him exactly 3 hours later. When i got to the hospital it took awhile for them to get my iv going and once they had i asked for the same medication id had with my daughter. The nurse was confused about what i was asking for so she never called for my meds. When i asked again the doctor was there to check me and said well theres no time for that, its time to push! I was terrified and had a minor melt down! Ha but i quickly realized there was nothing to do but push my son out! In the end i was glad i went natural! Now i know that i can and i will be doing the same this time around! Its the worst pain ever but its so empowering and worth every second!
Why not breastfeeding if I may know?
