What did you take for the flu

Hi ladies!

I am 24 weeks along and I have had the flu since Friday. Luckily for me there hasn't been any vomiting, but everything else is full and strong. I was wondering what you took to help ease sypmtoms. I took 2 Tylenol yesterday to kill a headache, but that's it.

I don't feel any worse than previous days but I don't feel any better either. Any in put would be very welcomed.

DH made me chicken soup yesterday. It was really sweet. He brought it in and kissed the top of my head. Just as he left the room I had a coughing attack and the soup spilled all over the place. Even down the front of my shirt. I grabbed my shirt and pulled it away from skin, but not soon enough. I wound up getting 2nd degree burns on the right side of my belly. The burn is really small and looks like an hour glass. The blister today is nearly gone.  DH felt horrible.

I think I am going to work a few more hours then go home. Being a holiday week there are only two of us here, and Dana sent me home yesterday the second I walked through the door. Today he said  I still look putrid (thanks for the great adjetive) and told me to go home once I felt caught up enough to go.

Tylenol is about the only thing you can take, which you need if you are having any fevers.  Also hydrate yourself well, tons of orange juice and chicken soup.  And lay down and rest.
