Not a question...asking for prayers
My brothers best friends daughter who is only 5 went to the Dr Friday because her mother felt a knot on her back...they didn't think it was anything serious...her Dr took one look and felt it and called an ambulance to rush her to Texas Children's Hospital for x-rays and cat scans...after waiting her parents got the most shocking news of their life...their baby girl has a baseball size tumor on her right kidney...and a dark spot on one of her lungs...they are 200% sure its cancerous and are removing her whole right kidney tomorrow than once they get it out they will determine what stage the cancer is and how much chemo to give...this little girl has been so strong through it all and I just ask you pray for her and her family as tomorrow she is going under the knife and will be cut open 6 in under her right rib

Omg I cant imagine what they are going through. Defintely keeping them in my prayers and hopefully their daughter's strength will prevail.
Sending prayers! My daughter went through 52 weeks of chemo after having a cancerous tumor removed when she was 11 months old. Kids are amazingly resilient when it comes to stuff like this. Please send my best wishes to your friends, also be aware there are many organizations that can be a huge help when dealing with these tough situations. 'Childhood Cancer Lifeline' was one that helped my family quite a bit. Feel free to contact me if you would like more information.

I will definately pray for her. When i read this i immidiately starting crying. This poor child has no clue what is going on an doesnt deserve this. I will pray every night that she makes a full recovery.

Il b praying for her! I had a lil cousin that was 9 n had a brain tumor n they couldnt do anything n she died bout 6 months later so understand wat the family is going thru. Lean on Jesus n trut him to take care of the lil girl n remember that he has a better plan than ours!
Update: they started surgery late...she just got out 30 mins ago and she came through with no complications :)) she is now in recovery with mommy and daddy...now all we are waiting on is for them to run test and see what stage the cancer is in....thank you ladies for all your wonderful prayers
UPDATE!!! So since Jenna's surgery she is doing great...was finally able to start eating again and got her pain pump taken out of her side...still havent heard any word on the spot on her lung as they have just been trying to let her recover...thank you once again to all you wonderful ladies for adding her and her family to your prayers
