OT-after labour question

So I just gave birth on the 8th, and since then I've not had any desire to touch food. I just never feel hungry, but I've been forcing myself to eat because I'm breastfeeding. Is this normal and does it last long?

I have the opposite problem... after giving birth the first thing I want aside from holding/nursing my baby is 1)drink and 2) food.

oh i think some prenatals can slow your supply so make sure and check with OB and/or pharmacist....so glad that you're settling in so well to your new mommy role sweetie!!

yep it's normal. Had it after both deliveries and both times I dropped weight like you would not believe.

the most important thing is to drink lots and lots of fluids and try to eat several small meals a day...I had to set alarms to remember to eat, seriously. some women continue to take prenatals while breastfeeding...ask your OB but this is what I did and it made me feel better that I was still producing nutritious milk even when I would forget to eat.

oddly enough..the only thing I could eat regularly after my daughter was born (the only thing I found appealing) was regular Cape Cod chips....this time around it was Sea Salt and Cracked Pepper Cape Cod chips, lol.

I had the same thing seriously!!! I thought it was only me... lol... IT is normal.... I think its the whole BF thing, you wonder if your eating the right things, enough of the right things.... Make yourself eat what you normally would eat.... It passes give it about a month or so for hormones and everything to settle.
