Over being pregnant?

Ladies, I have read a lot of ladies trying to induce as early as 34 weeks!!!!!! I understand your over being pregnant, your uncomfortable, get no sleep, pee every 20 min, hormonal ect. My doc said that trying to induce on your own won't work unless baby is ready, I tried everything and had to be induced 5 days late, I begged my doc to induce me at 37 weeks and I'm so grateful that he didn't, babies need all the time they can get till THEY are ready, not you! Do you at all feel selfish? Are you not worried you can harm your babies? One doc in l&d told me that babies in their last weeks have a higher chance of getting their umbilical cord wrapped around their neck especially when they are in distress and if it's wrapped around more then twice they can feel something wrong and try and get out of it but end up strangling themselves, do you wanna risk that! I felt like a total a hole after he told me that, I recommend you rest and relax as much as possible and enjoy your time while you can cuz once baby is here you won't even know what sleep or personal time means anymore . Good luck! It's about time you start putting your babies before yourselves.

The joys of shoving hormonal pregnant women together. :) texasbaby I bet you are excited to finally have your baby in your arms. And like I said before I am not directing my comments to anyone in particular. Trying to induce at 30 weeks is just heartbreaking. Best of luck to everyone and their bundles of joy. :)))

Then exactly why are you fighting about it? Did you fall under any part of this? Did I say your using caster oil ? No did I say your doing this because your uncomfortable no! This post is aimed for those who are trying to induce by using things that aren't recommended and for reasons that are not necessary like being uncomfortable and over pregnancy so you can kindly excuse yourself from this conversation seeing as your causing arguments over nothing that has to do with you k thanks have a grand healthy rest of your pregnancy :)

Im pretty sure you do want to argue?! Im not risking my childs life lady...and i dont have any complications and ive been induced before. this isnt my first baby hun this is my 3rd!!!! Im pretty sure ive been down this road a few times and know what im doing. im also going to school and ill eventually be delivering babies one day too! You must be insane if you want to start saying people are risking their babies... thats being judgemental! If i didnt have a normal uncomplicated pregnancy then my midwife wouldnt allow it. plus it isnt your baby so i dont see why you are getting upset. im not getting induced to force my baby out! ive never in my life of a baby dying from the mom getting induced.

A medically induced c section can lead to a c section. Its a fifty percent chance because your cervix don't ripen. Now if you are full term that is a different story. And I totally agree with you getting your induced so your husband will be there. Its an important moment. Pineapple sex and walking is what my midwife prescribed it is all natural sex softens your cervix walking gets the baby in postion and puts pressure on your cervix. Pineapple you wouldnt really do anything unless you eat the equilavent of five pineapples in one day!!! Yummy. Castor oil, nipple stimulation and others not listed are not recommended by docs for a reason. Just make smart healthy desicions ladies.
