Over being pregnant?

Ladies, I have read a lot of ladies trying to induce as early as 34 weeks!!!!!! I understand your over being pregnant, your uncomfortable, get no sleep, pee every 20 min, hormonal ect. My doc said that trying to induce on your own won't work unless baby is ready, I tried everything and had to be induced 5 days late, I begged my doc to induce me at 37 weeks and I'm so grateful that he didn't, babies need all the time they can get till THEY are ready, not you! Do you at all feel selfish? Are you not worried you can harm your babies? One doc in l&d told me that babies in their last weeks have a higher chance of getting their umbilical cord wrapped around their neck especially when they are in distress and if it's wrapped around more then twice they can feel something wrong and try and get out of it but end up strangling themselves, do you wanna risk that! I felt like a total a hole after he told me that, I recommend you rest and relax as much as possible and enjoy your time while you can cuz once baby is here you won't even know what sleep or personal time means anymore . Good luck! It's about time you start putting your babies before yourselves.

And no being medically induced doesn't hurt the baby, it's safer then self inducing, especially since your there and they can monitor your baby and make sure it's ok, if you do it at home and your babies heart rate goes up your not able to do anything about it! And if your doctor says your baby is too big they will schedule a c-section for you

Like I said for medical reasons is a totally different story. If your baby is full term. Anybody who is trying a home remedy to get the baby to come at 32 or 34 that isn't fair to you baby. Their poor little lungs aren't done growing the baby isn't done growing. A doctor and professional medically trained staff monitors us if we are getting induced. But dying the home remedy and stuff when Jr isn't ready is going to get a lot of head shakings.like I said there are plentybof women who pray everyday that they can go one more week if not day to not have their baby. And I think if your blessed with a healthy pregnancy then let your body due what its designed to do!!

Ya this is an advice forum and this is advice for those who are trying to induce themselves, this is a post to open their eyes! If you want to get offended that is your own problem, I am not here to judge anyone but to get them to realize how dangerous it can be and selfish if is to do so! I tried to induce myself and none of it worked! Thank god! But I didn't realize the dangers and the difference until by friend had her baby two weeks after me and she had him just a week early at 39 weeks! There is a huge difference in our babies! A difference in size and development and future effects! I totally understand wanting your husband there, mine worked 7hrs away in the oilfield but you know what when you go into labor most of the time they don't pop out in ten min, yes it's a risk to take but is it worth your baby not getting that last pound or that last few days maybe even weeks to finish developing ? It's like a cake, you wanna take it out 5 min early it's not gonna be finished cooking and it's not gonna taste as good because you brought that cake out a few min early

Some of us don't want to be induced with medicine. Being induced with medicine is what puts the baby in distress and usually will end up in a csection Its not being selfish. Plus my daughter is actually too big for my body to carry any longer.
