Ovulation Day

So over the last several months since my period that started in Oct, I have been going back and forth between 29 and 30 day cycles, alternating between the two...29 one month, 30 the next, 29, 30...etc. My question is do you think I'm ovulating late in the day CD 15/early CD 16 and that's why they keep alternating back and forth? I've been tracking AF for quite a while now and it's always gone back and forth from a longer month to a shorter month...and only since Oct has it been 29/30 days it was ranging from 29 or 31 (can't remember) up to 38. So is there a possibility that this 29-30 day back and forth is because of what time I ovulate on CD 15/16? I just find it odd that it's been going back and forth like this...anyone have any ideas?

I've done it before, that's why I know I ovulated on either CD 15 or 16 because I have a 14 day luteal phase. So I've just been counting backwards...I'm just confused as to why each month it goes back and forth between 29 and 30 days and before it was shorter why it went from a longer cycle to a shorter one...

I suggest tracking your BBT.  It is a great way of conceiving IMO.  I did it for a year so if you decide that route and have any questions, let me know.
