I just HAD to tell SOMEONE!!!!
Well, as we all know, it's such an amazing thing when a baby is born...even if it's not your own, if its someone you know you want to run and shout it from the roof tops...so here I go:
I work for a family owned business...my bosses are the mom, dad and two sons...
Well, the oldest sons wife just gave birth yesterday afternoon to their second child.....this is the 3rd grandchild.
It's also the FIRST grandsons :)
Tuesday was her due date but when she went to the doc she hadn't done ANYTHING...so he said to go to the hospital at 9pm that night to be admitted and they would induce her at 5 am yesterday morning. Well they did and by 7:30 she was only 1 cm...she was having a lot of PAINFUL back contractions but not the kind that were helping her progress. The last I heard was at 4pm yesterday she was only at 4 cm, was in a lot of pain. They had tried giving her an epidural but it didn't take. After that I didn't hear anything until this morning...I was at my babysitters and I got a picture message on my phone...it was a pic of the baby. So when I got to work I talked to the proud granddad and this is what I found out:
She had the baby around 5...so after the last time I talked to her she finally got an epidural to take and in not much more than an hour she had fully dialated and the baby was born.
William Robert is 8 lbs 2 oz and 21" long

I finally got to see pics of him...he's absolutely beautiful....his complexion is so clear he doesn't look like a typical newborn...no splotches or acne or red marks....he's just a beautiful little boy....and his sister is sporting her "I'm the big sister" shirt for the 2nd day in a row LOL
Oh thats so exciting! I love to hear that babies are born! God Bless them all!
