Thanks for the advice ladies . i live my my boyfriend & i have a feeling his mom already knows & its funny cause i told.him that she'll be the first to find out . she is always questioning him and he says she doesnt seem mad so i hope wen we do tell her she is there to help . my parents are so strict & they are who im really scared to tell.
I sent my mom a pic of my pregnancy test via text!!
Tell them early and confidently because you should be able to gain their support through the pregnancy and avoid miscarriage due to stress. You're 19. You're an adult. You made an adult decision so tell them.
When I first got pregnant I was 19 too my boyfriend is 27 my mom found out on her own and I was so scared to come home but she didn't take it as bad as I thought she was going to. Now my dad I told him and he didn't talk to me for months but eventually came around.
So basically tell them early :/
I showed my mother the ultrasound when I was 6 weeks, and her response? ? "OH HELL NAW!!!" Lol. Need you mind I've been married for a while now lol.
I'm 24 and I still haven't told my parents either. This is my second child and my parents second grandchild. With the first child I told my mom threw a text a week after I found out and she was in the delivery room with me. She was upset at first but in the end she loves her grandson. But I know how you feel. I live in my own place and I'm still worried about telling them
it depends on the situation im 19 and 35 weeks but i got married at 18 at the end of july and actually conceived like the next day so my mum and dad was like your married so its no big deal
Lol i texted my mom(im on her insurance still) and told her and then with my dad we sat a sonogram picture on the table lol
My mom already knew. It's like a mothers instinct, she already knows. When she called me on night she just asked a lot of questions so I broke under pressure and blurted out "im pregnant" I was 6weeks also. She was furiywhen she found out but she came around n now is ver supportive of me my boyfriend and the baby.
I told my mom as soon as I took the test , but I made her tell my dad lol of course my dad was taking it way worse then my mom but eventually he came around and Now they're blessed with a healthy grandson
I'm 19 as well and I recently just told my parents good thing both parents are in my life so I told my dad first I texted him which isn't a good idea I was just really nervous they didn't like the idea of me being so young but they accepted it and is supporting I say tell your mom around 15weeks it's not too early or too late good luck :)
I was 20 when I found out. I just texted my mom and invited her to all the apointment and asked for her support.
I kinda felt like this was the best way bec I was so nervous and didn't want to see how she reacted... but it's better to tell them early then later bec if they don't fully support you in the beginning they will before your baby is born.
I went in all serious and was like i need to talk to you about something, mom was like whats wrong?
Then i acted like it was no big deal and said oh nothing im just pregnant
That would have been her first grandchild
With my currernt we waited until we found out the sex of the baby and my dr gives you a dvd copy of the ultrasound so i just popped it into her computer and let her watch it
You are so brave . i try thinking of everyway to tell them . my boyfriend has been too every night we come up with a different idea and it is so complicated .
I told my mum first I walked in sat in the bench and said I had a doc app today she said yeah what for I said I'm pregnant! She almost died but she was happy it was her 5th grandchild so no big deal hahawith this 2nd baby i bbought my son a "I'm going to be a big brother" t - shirt and had him wear a jacket then we got all attention in him and took his jacket off and everyone read it :)
I didn't tell my mom until I was almost 6 months I was a nervous wreck about telling her and not knowing how she was going to react. She ended up asking me and is completely fine and supportive about everything. She even had my bedroom redone, new ceiling, paint and a new floor is going in soon
