Just try to relax, wait for the ob to call back.  When you go home from work tonight elevate your feet and that should help with swelling.

Anything is possible.  Are you on your feel alot during the day?  That could be another reason.  Being PG does crazy things to our bodies.

I just read a web site that said that pregnant woman swell when they don't drink allot of water.    I'm at work, I'm a nanny... An I was out of bottled water.  City water has a smell to me lol.  could that be why?

Not unless you are in any severe pain or the foot is hot to the touch.  If you don't hear from your ob, then go to ER to ease your mind.  I know I was very nervous when it first happened to me.

I would call the OB.  I am sure it is fine, but always better to call and ask questions.

Call the Dr. and ask them, that is your safest bet.

Did you call your Dr.?

I know some women DO swell although I think it is more common later in pregnancy. I would just call your Doc's office and ask to speak to a nurse. I havent had swelling yet, sorry I can't be of more help.

I would ask your Dr. and see what they say.  Thisis my 5th child, so for me I have to keep an eye on them.  This is the worst I have ever had them in my life.  I am 23 weeks and it is getting worse, not the swelling in my feet, but I have what they call vulvar verscosities (sp?)  I had to buy a special belt to wear ( looks like a jock strap for women........lol) I was also told to wear support hose, but I live in FL.  It is just way too hot for that.  Best thing to do is talk to the dr and they can check you and make sure it's nothing else first.

Do you have any problems with vericose veins?  When I first found out I was pg i noticed my right ankle was swollen.  I asked my Dr. about it and she said it is due to lack of circulation from the vericose veins.
