Medcaid question

So I applied to Medicaid when I was around 12 weeks, I got accepted when I was 16 weeks. But I never recived my card. I just still have the letter saying I got accepted. My worry is I'm 36 weeks now, I'm pretty sure I won't get it before I have my baby, will they accept this? I know I got accepted just haven't got my card yet!

There shouldnt be a problem:) all you do is tell your doctor when u go into labor your name and that you have medicaid and they can look it up in the system:) because i always forget my insurance card lol

you might still have insurance just for full coverage then for 16 year olds instead of just pregnancy Medicaid coverage.

once you are pregnant, it converts to a pregnancy Medicaid that covers for pregnancy only. how old are you?

I've had medicaid ever since I was little so I don't know? I've made sure they knew I was pregnant..

depends on what Medicaid you're eligible for.

I work at a calling center for Medicaid. you can call and request for the card to be sent out to you. takes 10-14 making days, but you can ask for your RID number until you receive your card so you can have your Medicaid run through when you go for your appointments.

I got accepted with three days when I was five weeks. Got temporary cards online for me and baby same day and got them in the mail after two weeks. Good luck! Call thwm for sure

No I haven't cause I thought It was just taking long. But I am going to now cause I'm starting to worry . How long once you call them did it take InsaneRoman?

They did that to me! I had to call and ask to have one sent to me. They were pretty prompt after that.

Have you called the number on the letter and ask wth
