also if i just stopped birth control two days ago..could i take prenatals right now or would the clash...thank you for all the replies i just have more questions!!
I am ttc I just got off birth control...so if it takes three months to be fully effective three days after I could get pregnant!!?
It takes three months for birth control to be effective at preventing pregnancy. Until that time at every point in your cycle you should be using additional protection during sex to prevent pregnancy. Any time you miss even one pill or take the pill late (it must be taken at the same time every day) you need to use a second form of birth control through your next month of pills. So yes you are at risk for pregnancy.
It may throw ur ovulation out of wack. once ur regular, ur ovulation will automatically regulate. If u want to ttc, ur best bet is to stop birth control. Ur body will need to adjust to not having BC in ur system. Once ur regular, find out when u ovulate. U can do this by googling "ovulation calculators" they're self explanatory. Also using an OPK (ovulation predictor kit) will also let u know when u ovulate:)
i am on seasonique...so i only get my period every three months...would that change my ovulation from the last time? or would it just go back when i miss three pills?
If u miss ur pills and u have unprotected sex during ur ovulation then there is a possibility of pregnancy..
