My cousin died in October of last year. I went to the viewing, I went to the funeral. I miscarried one week later. I don't believe it had anything to do with going though. Just happened. God blessed me 3 months later and I'm 20 weeks now :)

My Grandmother died March this year I was in the room when she died (preg & didnt know) went to view her body & sat front row at her funeral. Found out the morning of her funeral I'm pregnant. Whenever I visit her grave my baby bounces around. When I view her body my baby bounced around thats what made me take a test & I'm 15w2days today!!

The reason we aren't supposed to watch a horror film is because it quickness your pulse, and when that happens then baby's pulse races too. And their pulse is already so much faster than your own. It has nothing to do with covering your face. Don't stress too much. I've read on here that people have been told they mustn't have a bath because the baby will drown. But it swims in amniotic fluid all day long, and the bath water can't actually enter your womb.
I've also read from women who have been told they mustn't lift their arms over their head because the baby will be strangled by its cord. How do you ladies brush and style your hair? It's all just old wives tales

My Bamp passed suddenly 5 weeks ago. There was no possible way I was going to miss his funeral. He was amazing and meant so much to me. I also walked behind the coffin. Yes it was stressful but it was also healing.

My nephews father died a few days after Christmas last year in a horrible fire. May God rest his soul, I loved him like a brother and he loved my sons but passed before the chance he could meet my daughte. My nephews are 5 & 4 years old so ot was definitely hard for the. I was only newly pregnant but did attend his wake, cried my eyes out but I had to be supportive. They say funerals can stress you out and when you get upset your baby does but I never heard about the coffin thing.

They told my mom this when she was pregnant with me. Her grandpa had died and they told her not to go. Not only is it stressful but I guess its bad for the baby. But she went anyways. She was her grandpas favorite so she had to go. And I'm just fine. I had no conplications at birth and still don't

I never heard they shouldn't attend but I heard a pregnant woman shouldn't walk behind the coffin..
Or see the person at the wake. (Laid out??)

And shouldn't be in the room as the person dies etc..
