Pregnancy test gone wrong??

I am due for my monthly "curse" on the 15th.  I took a test 5 days ago.  The Control line came up immediatly, but then a few seconds later I got a pink line going across the T part.  Where it would either be blank saying NOPE or YUP.  Except the line was horizontal, and went only threw to the T part.  Is this a defective test?  I've taken tests before and i've never had that happen, i've also taken them, before where they were defective and nothing showed up, or it was the "evap" line, but it was never pink.  Any suggestions?

I'm kinda confused too, cause I don't know what you mean with how the positive part has a horiztonal line, but I'd probably have to see it. I'd just go with a negative until you see otherwise.

Thats what I figured.  The negative part came up with the vertical line.  But the positive part had a horiztonal line, which is why I kind of was confused, i've never seen anything like it.  I am assuming it's negative.  I bought another test, but I won't take it again until after i'm late.  If I am even late.  I just thought it was the weirdest thing ever.

So it looked like a negative sign where the test part is supposed to show up? I know different tests use different colors, so I'm not sure if that should be a concern or not. As far as I know, the only defective tests I've seen or heard of is if the control line doesn't show up. It sounds like it's just a negative.
