I'm going to breastfeed.  Cheaper, healthier, gives baby antibodies, if baby gets sick your nipple absorbs the saliva and makes antibodies to make it better. If baby gets a cut when older you can put it on the cut and it will help. Also if baby has an eye infection you can put it in babys eye and it will heal it. I'm sure pumping hurts a little but you probably get use to it. I'm going to be a stay at home mom, so I wont be needing to do that.

Breast is best - there's a lot of reasons people say so. It's healthier for baby, it promotes bonding, it helps to contract the uterus after birth, control bleeding, and regulate maternal hormones. It can delay the return of menstruation (who doesn't love that?) It is basically free, except for the extra calories you have to consume to produce it, saving thousands of dollars on formulas and supplemental nutrition. It is always the right temperature and always ready when baby is hungry... no trying to calm a hungry crying baby for ten minutes while you mix a bottle and get it to the right temperature, just lift and latch. Always in the right package, no worrying about having enough sterilized bottles. It helps to improve baby's immune system - breastfed babies have much lower rates of ear infections and other illnesses all the way through childhood. Several studies have shown increased intelligence in breastfed babies. As opposed to formula, milk changes as baby grows to provide exactly what is needed - fatty at first, then with more protein - when baby is sick, milk includes extra immune boosters and nighttime milk even has tryptophan, the awesome hormone in turkey that makes people tired. Breastfed babies go back to sleep faster after night nursing, and moms get more sleep too.
Breastfeeding takes time to learn. Developing a good latch and good positioning techniques takes some time to learn, as does toughening up nipples that have never been used in quite that way before. Generally moms say about 4-6 weeks is how long it takes to get over the initial soreness a d get a good routine going, and it can be frustrating until that time is over. But once it's over it's smooth sailing and can continue for as long as mom and baby want - my son weaned just before his 2nd birthday. It was worth every minute.

U dont have to pump away from home as long as u have lo with u and I never ever exposed myself I fed in the car with a cover if lo wasnt playing trying to pull it off and as long as u have a place to pump at work u can keep it up easily if u think u wanna try it go for it momma just be patient cuz yes it can hurt but pregnancy isnt exactly pain free either

Im a ftm mom but planning to bf. They say breast is best because it has so much more nutrients than formula and its healthier for your child. Also cheaper than formula. Cons I would say are that you have to pump away from home and it could be painful. Like I said im a ftm mom so im sure there are tons more

Cons are u wont know exactly how much baby is eating, bfing can hurt as u and lo learn latching position etc, more often itll be u feeding baby (even with milk in the fridge in the middle of the night it was me only that fed our son because my hubs is hard to wake up and I had to feed or pump anywaz because of leaking/engorged) and formula does keep baby fuller longer slightly but I think thats a big trade for all the extra washing prepping bottles
pros easy as boob is always ready to go at temp, dont have to use bottles, decreased risk of several cancers for u and baby, decreased risk of diabetes and other diseases for lo, FREEEEEEEEEE, burns about an extra 600 calories a day making food for baby without thinking about it, makes diapers smell waaaaaay better, changes composition for say night feedings or if lo does get sick, never recalled
I know there's more im not thinking of but I dont think ive ever heard someone say they regret bfing if they were able. I had alot of problems (soreness bleeding mastitis) but ill gladly do it all again
