Rolling over in his sleep...

Here is the deal, Jeremiah (who is almost 6 months) goes to sleep on his belly every night and the last couple of nights around 3-4am he wakes up and starts screaming and when I run into his room, he is on his back. I mean is there anything I can do about this? He hates being on his back, for sleep anyway. Will he just eventually get used to that happening and hopefully sleep right through it one of these days? For now, should I just continue going in his room and putting him back on his belly so he can fall asleep? It's only been the last couple of days that this has happened. I'm sure someone else has experienced this, right? I think it just scares him when it happens. He also just did it today while taking his afternoon nap. I'm lost! Tell me there is light at the end of the tunnel! I feel so bad when he screams like that!
Thanks for any advice! <3  (I also posted this on the maternal & child forum)

I would get him looked at by his doc. Maybe he ia having some sort of pain when he lays on his back, or maybe he has an issue breathing? I would first talk to your doctor about it and see what he/she says.

He has a doc appt. in 2 weeks. I am going to ask him then about it. I just think it scares him to all of a sudden be on his back. During the day he plays on his back and is fine...so I don't think it's a breathing issue.  But we'll see...hopefully he will be okay tonight and sleep through the night!
