My friend had her baby last August at 32 weeks and she wasn't due till October . He baby only had to stay in the hospital till she bout 34-36 weeks . Only thing her baby had to do was gain weight from being 2 lbs to bout 5 lbs and she went home (: but every baby is different .

It just depends on how developed baby is, at 35 &36 weeks sometimes their good enough to go home other times their not

It all depends on the baby. I've seen 35 weekers that go home in 2 days and I've seen 39 weekers that have to stay for weeks. Every situation is different and there is no way to tell for certain until baby is born.

I guess i didnt word it right. If my baby is born at 35 weeks will he need to be in nicu? What about if he comes at 36 weeks? At what gestational age will he be developed enough to come home? My midwife says hes coming early so i just wanna be prepared for whenever i go into labor

Usually you can count on a premie having to stay in the nicu til around their due date.

That depends on when the baby was born, the earlier the higher the chance of them not making it, and it all depeends on how fast your baby progressesyou could be looking at a long time or maybe half that.
