Seeing spots

I know this is going to sound weird but im not crazy lol. Its happened 3 different times now, all within the last week. I will see spots. Like little floating specks of light. And they're everywhere. Then after a min or 2, they're gone and everything is back to normal. I also keep getting dizzy spells. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow so i plan to ask then but just wondering if anyone had any ideas what this could be. Im 37 weeks by the way.

Yes!! If you do the 24 hour urine test its if you have 300mg or more of protein you get diagnosed with it :) it could just be you get times where your blood pressure goes up or down I know mine will randomly go up but then go down so they send me home but it could be something else! Hope this helps good luck and let us know what the doctor says!!

No headache and I'm not nauseous. Thank you. I'm definately going to ask tomorrow! Is it easy for them to check if you have preeclampsia? Like they just test your urine or...?

Possibly! I've been going through the same thing actually cuz they found protein in my urine but after my 24 hour test they ruled it out but if you don't have a head ache or feel nauseous right now you can wait until your doctors appointment tomorrow and deff tell your doctor cuz those are some signs of it!!!

I had the same exact thing happen! I'm 26 weeks and I was sitting in the waiting room at the clinic and I thought i was crazy for seeing those! I tried blinking my eyes, like a lot, and they didn't go away. I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing this! Lol

It can be blood pressure or low iron

This is my 2nd pregnancy with preeclamplsia. I've found I get blinded by a shower of white spots when my bp is too high but when my meds drop my bp too low I see black floaters and get hot and dizzy. I'd say it might be your bp but not sure which way it is for you, high or low. I'd get your dr to check it.

@Lizzy isnt preeclampsia high blood pressure? Every doctors appointment my blood pressure is good. Can it happen that suddenly? Now im kinda worried :/

I had the same thing too I'm 29 weeks, I read about low blood pressure!

I'm 15 weeks tomorrow and that same thing happened to me a couple days ago! Haha I turned my head to the side and saw little floating spots everywhere and then they went away. I also get dizzy spells but that is because my blood pressure is low.

Call your doctor!! There signs of preeclampsia!!
