Is 36 weeks too early to start trying ways to self induce? I would mostly bounce on my exercise ball & go up & down my stairs

Technically if you went into labor right now they wouldnt stop it but yes you should let the baby come on its own to make sure its lungs are  ready it can also have trouble sucking if born to early

If your gonna self induce wait till the 37th week. Most doctors consider that full term

Full term babies also latch better. Not sure if you're planning to breastfeed but their suck, swallow, breathe reflex is much stronger as they hit the 40 wk mark.

Bouncing on exercise ball and walking stairs is fine to do all throughout pregnancy because it isn't going to bring labor on anyway. You can do whatever you like to self induce, it's only going to work if the baby is ready so I honestly say just wait because nothing helps lol its up to the baby not us..
