I dont think its something you get passed kn from someone else its something you get during pregnancy ... I started getting swollen at around 29-30 weeks I think and my doc told me to eat less food that contained salt and to drink alot of water ... Seens it got worse my doc told me to stay away from salt completely and to only drink water about 6-10 bottles of water daily which I know I was drinking less than that and alot of the food I eat contained salt .... Sooo I know that got things worse ... Until one day it was sooo bad even my legs were very swollen I called and changed my app. To a monday and I went in to see my doc and my bp was sky high so she sent me to l&d ... I had my baby on wed morning and was discharged from the hospital on a friday ...

You should call right away I had to be induced to have my babygirl at 35 weeks and 6 days because I had preeclamsia ... I was very swollen ... My face hands feets ankles legs it was bad my bp was very high too.. My doc sent me to l&d right away I had to stay there for 5 days ...

preeclampsia is very serious. I had a friend I went to school with she ended up getting it when she was pregnant and she passed away. I would probably call today and tell her at least your swelling and see what she recommends.

better safe than sorry. you should drink plenty of water and make sure you get enough rest until you're able to see the doctor
