My husband took me to be induced the day before my due date (he was deployjng /training soon), at 630 am on the last day of June, 2011. I got my epi around 1 pm-ish after they broke my water.. I had my extra shot one time before the doc came in (it was almost gone. I felt most of the birth) to check my dilation and said it was time to push! 3 contractions later (3 pushes each) he was here at 535 pm.. my husband answered the phone as my grandparents were calling and they got to hear him cry at the same time we did! :)

i didn't feel the episiotomy, the pain from contractions was much worse than a little cut :( and the stitching was okay too :)
would you do it again? or go for a c-section ?

:)
mine was horrible, although i would do it again :)
my due date was 13th of january 2013, my waters broke on the 21st of January, and had to be induced next day because i had no contractions... once i was induced the dilatiion took about 7-8 hours... hours of horrible contractions, i did ask for epidural (i didn't want it, because i wanted natural labour, to feel whats it like..) so got the epidural.. it didn't work..they adjusted it twice... no effect.. felt every contraction and pressure and the baby coming out... then my babys head wouldn't fit through my bones so they cut my vag and put a vaccuum inside (not a very comfy feeling) a few more pushes and he was out....finalyyy... ;)
it was very dissapointing, because while i was pregnant i wanted a natural birth, and i always had it in my head that if it is too painfull i will always have an easy way out, an epidural... can't believe it didn't work((

Cute story :-) i had no symptoms of labor on the 7th of jan.. was due jan 10.. told my hubby to talk to our little girl and tell her to come out.  He said do somethibg by 2am so i dont miss anything by going to work. Within 5 min i started having weird cramps .. they started getting worse and in my.back so i googled what a contraction felt like. I timed them for an hr and a half and they were all 3-5 min apart. Called my doc and she told me i didnt sound like i was in enough pain so call if it changes. Went back to bed.. 1:55am my water broke (five min before my hubby told our babygirl to do something by) went to the hospital.. didnt progress fast enough by morning (was only 4) .. they put me on pitocin which i dealt w for an hr then asked for an epi.. the anesthesiologist tore up my back and stuck me 5times. Thought id be paralyzed. After that they cranked up the pitocin. I progressed so quick. Baby girl was born @ 2:01pm jan 8 .. took abt 5 pushes if that :-)
