I am so sorry this happened to you at this time in your life--sometimes I don't quite understand why things happen the way they do. She was so young and my heart aches for you. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Try to stay strong for your children and I wish you a safe delivery:)
I'm so sorry for your loss, you are in my prayers.
I'm so sorry for your loss, today must have been extrremly hard for you and your whole family, I hope that your baby will fill the dark spot with happiness and joy when you have it.
well we had the viewing today and at first my son couldn't understand why everyone was so sad and then when we actually went in the room he saw his nana and said there is my nana and ran over to her and actually told her wake up nana the sun is up no more sleeping and my dad sat him down and told him that nana was sleeping and that she wasn't going to wake up and then we decided to go and he broke down then screaming he wanted his nana to come with us and we told him she couldn't and that he won't be able to see her again but she would be watching him from heaven and we pointed to the sky and then i think he finally got it he cried all the way home which is an hour and a half drive it just broke my heart
Oh my gosh! It literally broke my heart to read your post. My mom also has COPD. She is 46. I can't imagine what u must be going thru. My oldest son (3 and a half) is VERY VERY close to his "Nanny." I dnt know what I would do w/out my mom. You will be in my thoughts & prayers. ~HUGS~
Sorry to hear about the loss of your mom.
I'm very sorry. I lost my mom in July and she never got to know about my pregnancy and miscarriage and pregnancy again. I can't say anything to make you feel better. It doesn't get any easier, it just gets tolerable. You have to live for your babies now... She'll see them. Just make sure your new baby always knows who his/her Nana was. It's not fair, but it happened. I am sorry...
i'm so sorry to hear about your loss.....but as the others said, she will definitely be there for the baby's birth, and i'm sure you'll be able to feel that around you.....i'll keep you and your family in my thoughts, and on the viewing part, i'd honestly say it depends on your son. i've had younger cousins, who when our great-great nannie died, they didn't understand and were very upset and a few had outbursts at the viewing......but that's really up to you and your husband...maybe he could skip the viewing, but still attend the service of course.....again, i'm soooo sorry for your loss, and i hope you have a good delivery and a speedy recovery......
I will keep you and your family in my prayers... God Bless.
I am so sorry for your loss. My grandmother has Emphysema(sp?) complicated with COPD... So I know the suffering it causes.
Please, Please... try your best to not let yourself get too upset. I know it's a real dumb thing for me to say, but you need to be focused on your baby and your 5yr old.
GOOD luck, and If you need to talk I'm here.. I don't have personal experience with a death like that, but I'm hear to listen (and not tell) if you need it! Sometimes all someone needs is an ear...
How awful! I am truly sorry to hear of this! Be strong for your son and for your unborn child on the way!
All our thoughts r with you, pleas remain strong.... even if you have your baby on the same day that means god has gifted you with this baby to replace your loss... I hope all goes fine with you and please remember you are not lone...
well my cousin she is 5 and her dad was shot and killed and she attended the viewing..so i think you should let him go he might get confused but you can explain it to him when i was younger i went to my great grandmother's funeral I only remember bits and pieces but i remember being there...
thankyou so much for all your kind words i tried explaining things to my son earlier today when he had asked where his nana was and said he wanted to give her a hug and kiss before he went to go down for a nap. i don't think he understands we are having a viewing tomorrow i don't know if i should let him come or not like i said he was very close to her
My mom died when I was pregnant with my first daughter. She had been battling cancer for five years. I understand your pain, hurt, angry, frustration, bitterness! *HUGS* Things will get better in time... but that's the thing, you must give yourself time to heal.
im so sorry for your loss its nothing worse then losing a child or a parent..im sure your mom will still be there for the birth but in spirit...please just remember that your mom no longer has to suffer and be in pain its easier said then to believe but you will make it through
take care
Honey I am so sorry for your loss. Try to relax and stay off your feet. I know thats goin to be hard but its one of the ways to keep baby inside atleast until tomorrow. I am so sorry for your son, and your family. But children understand more than we give them credit for. Even if they know very little or nothing about God they only need to know that nana will be safe happy healthy with him until its time for us to be with him. Not for very many years to come..... I wish your family all the support and love needed in your time of loss. I hope that everything with your baby goes well and your mother will still be by your side.... God bless you all.
I am so sorry to hear about your mother. It sounds like the two of you were very close. Your mom will still be with you when you deliver your little one she will just be sitting next to God, cheering you on!! .
I am just so lost for words, and I wish I knew exactly what to say to make your pain go away. Please know that I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Take comfort in knowing that God only gives you what you can handle. So, you must be a really strong and amazing person if he thinks he you can handle such a painful situation all at once.
Take Care!
I am so sorry for loss. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts
Oh wow! You have alot to deal with! Keep your head up! I know it's heard to do but everything will turn out! I will keep you in my prayers!
My nanny also died from COPD, I never even knew what it was before then....Im sorry for your loss.
this is a tragic thing to happen and i'm so sorry for your loss. LIke the others said, when you have your baby, your mom will be there in spirit. Some believe that when things like this happen, the loved one passed before the birth so that they could be in a place where they can watch over things and make sure everything goes okay...and to lend a hand in a different/spiritual way.
Whatever your beliefs, this is a sad moment for you and you will be in my prayers as you greive and look forward to the birth of your baby!
God Bless
Sorry about your loss...your mom will be watching over you while you are having this baby. She has gone to a better place now, where she wont be in pain anymore. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Sorry to hear about your loss, I will be thinking about you and keep you in my prayers!! Sending bunches of hugs!!
