When did you ladies start buying your baby things? (Crib,diapers, wipes etc) my husband wants to start already, since we are going through some financial problems, and we have $ saved up now. Im 14 weeks pregnant and dont know if i should wait or start already.

I got a few sleepers and outfits at 20 weeks I recently got and set up my crib furniture a couple weeks ago and I'm having my shower tomorrow so after that I'll go out and get everything else I feel like I waited too long because I'm coming upon 37 weeks

Traditionally in my husband's family him and I aren't allowed to purchase anything for our son until after he is born. So we're waiting tk see what we get at the baby shower next month and he will be doing the shopping after the baby comes. My mother-in-law will be helping him. Lol. Lord knows he's gonna need all the help he can get while I'm in the hospital with baby.

My boyfriend and I decided not to buy anything until after we have the baby shower! The baby shower will be May 18th and I'll be 32 weeks than.. We figured we'd have the baby shower and see what we all did and didn't get and what we need and don't need than after the shower we will start buying things here and there until we have all that we need. My due date is July 13th by the way.. So having the baby shower 2 months before her arrival we thought was good because than we still have about 2 months to get what we do need still..

I'm 17 weeks on Sunday and I've already got 5 packets of nappies, 15 packs of wipes, baby bath products, cot, pram and a few unisex bits.started after my 13 week scan so I don't have to rush around closer to the time and have a massive expense at once:)

I didn't start buying until I found out what I was having at 20 weeks. But the way that I did was Every Time that I got paid I would go buy a few things I am now 27 weeks and we almost have everything that we need.

I stated around 22 weeks aswell :) but it's really up to you and your husband when to start! Some people consider it bad luck to buy before 20 weeks that's why I didn't cause everyone was nagging me about it :)
