STIs while pregnant

I just got a call from my doctor and they told me I have 2 STIs I'm 25,weeks pregnant and so scared that my baby can be effected. I'm not with my baby's father ( but we still have sex time to time) and had sex one time with one other person.  I'm getting treated for both today but I'm still scared... I'm not having sex with anyone, anymore just to make sure my baby stays safe after this...has anybody ever been thru this!?!

I've never herd of STI but if it's better than having STD then I'd take that instead.  In sure you will be fine, you seem to be caring for yourself and your baby so that's always good. Congratulations on your baby and just remember to stay happy (:

You should be good as long as you get treated. You should also inform your sexual partners and babies father to get tested so thay they could get treated as well....they deserve to know because its their health.  Good luck to you and your baby:)

Sti is sexually transmitted infection. Not disease

Do you mean STD's?  Sorry I couldn't understand the question.  Yes some std can affect your baby such and ghonorhia and chlamydia.  They can cause miscarriage and infection.  But since you've seen your dr, they will most likely prescribe an antibiotic and it should clear up. Best of luck to you and your baby and stay positive (:

You will be just fine and so will baby if you get treated. Going left untreated is what is dangerous
