Silly question?

Lets say you're out shopping, you walked through the chemical aisles, and u smell all the diff types of cleaning supplies.. does that smell affect the baby?? Because that's what I have to deal with at work, I don't open them and sniff them, but I smell it when passing by.. Which is often, is it bad? :( I'm only 11 weeks my first pregnancy so everything worries me..

No, your fine. During my 1st pregnancy I worked in the same company but as a Hazmat responder handling chemicals and all sorts of spills. The smells and fumes were quite strong but even though I had to have direct and constant contact with these chemicals the doctor said I would be fine and to use PPE (personal protective equipment. Gloves, etc.) My son was fine and very healthy. If the smell bothers you too much just where a mask when you need too but you and baby will be fine :)
