Snowmobiling at 5 months pregnant

Hi I am 19 weeks pregnant and I am flying to WY with my husband and his family. His step-dad wants to go snowmobiling and I was just wondering if it would be alright if I went too as long as I take it easy. And my pregnancy has been picture perfect as far so would it be alright it I went? We leave in 2 days!

The dr said it was fine as long as I didn't go over 40mph and I or my husband drove!

I know how you feel...not completely the same but my husband and I have a Harley and I know that when I do get pregnant I am going to have to give it up.  It is going to stink but it's only for 9 months and i would feel so bad if something happened.  Best of luck with your pregnancy!

There are too many risks involved. If someone were to crash into you, no matter how slow and easy you were taking it, you could be at great risk. It doesn't matter if you've had a wonderful preg. up to this point. Why risk being jostled, thrown from the mobile, crashed into?

Also, you might be in pain later. Do it at your own risk! But don't forget you're not just risking your life, you have a baby to think of!

I would call your doc to make sure. Certain things are not recommended during pregnancy, but I dont think snowmobiling would be a big deal if you take it real easy. But check with your doctor first before you go just to be safe.
